The old Waarschip “ten-ten” was a true racer which handled so easily that the boat also turned out to be ideal for cruising. Its low weight (2.65 tons) and high level of ballast (43%) gave the boat extremely good sailing properties, which made for spectacular sailing at very high speeds.
The 1010 CR: a fast cruiser
The new 1010 CR displays the craftsmanship which Waarschip is capable of these days, and will certainly turn the heads of connoisseurs with its beautifully worked wood and tightly finished teak decks. The 1010 CR has a grown-up interior and is therefore perfect for longer stays on board such as family holidays. The 1010 CR is a proper cruiser which handles easily; with it, it is entirely possible to cover long distances with great ease, making a far wider sailing radius possible than you were previously used to. Before going on holiday, don’t forget to buy new charts for more far-flung destinations!
