ORC Sportboat Class Rules
The new Waarschip SB9 is a competition boat pur sang. When developing the boat, optimum account was taken of ORC Sportboat Class Rules. The spacious cockpit offers space for 6/7 sailors, leaving room for a possible trainer. The Waarschip SB9 is therefore also ideally suited as a training boat at sea.
When developing the SB9, Waarschip ensured that the running costs were as low as possible. The boat can accommodate 7 students, but has a length of only 9 meters. The maintenance costs per student are therefore much lower. In addition, the smaller size and low weight of the boat makes sailing much more direct. You feel better what the boat is doing. Ideal for a training boat.
The Waarschip SB9 is going to sail in the ORC Sportboat class. Boats such as the Farr 28, J 88, Soto 30, Match 30 and Pogo 30 are included in this class.
Speed Guide
It is clear that the boat is a fast sailing machine. However, it is not the case that the boat is only suitable for experienced racing sailors. Even less experienced sailors or active touring sailors can handle it extremely well. View Speed Guide.
